Pour relever ces défis, STRATEC a recherché une solution unifiée et automatisée afin d’améliorer la cohérence et l’intégration des données. En collaboration avec XPLM, STRATEC a mis en œuvre une architecture de base de données standardisée qui automatise le transfert des données ECAD vers PTC Windchill et synchronise les données sur les matériaux entre l’ERP et le PLM. Cette intégration a permis d’établir une source unique de vérité pour les données produit, de réduire les tâches manuelles et d’améliorer la transparence dans l’ensemble des processus métier.
Solution
To replace manual ECAD data handling and ensure consistent product information, STRATEC implemented an automated integration of Cadence OrCAD into PTC Windchill. The project began with a detailed analysis of existing processes and the setup of an ECAD component database, forming the foundation for efficient data management. Using XPLM’s Standard Windchill ECAD Integration Package, the integration was tailored to meet STRATEC’s specific workflow requirements. After configuration workshops and targeted user training, the new solution was successfully deployed within seven months—enabling seamless data exchange, reducing manual effort, and improving process transparency across departments.
