Aperçu du projet
OSI Systems aimed to enhance the efficiency of its mechanical development department while ensuring that the implemented solution remained cost-effective and adaptable to future requirements. With limited resources and the need to quickly onboard a new project manager, the focus was on achieving a seamless integration into the existing PLM environment. XPLM supported OSI Systems in developing a customized automation solution for file naming and structured uploads to PLM. This ensured consistent data organization, compliance with company-specific processes, and scalability for future needs — all while maintaining budget efficiency and operational continuity.

Solution
XPLM a mis en place une intégration sur mesure entre Oracle Agile A9 et SOLIDWORKS afin d’optimiser les processus d’ingénierie d’OSI Systems. La solution comprenait des modifications de code sur mesure visant à améliorer les séquences de nommage des fichiers CAO et à permettre le téléchargement direct des fichiers d’analyse par éléments finis (FEA) dans Agile A9. De plus, XPLM s’est assuré que l’intégration répondrait à la fois aux besoins actuels et futurs de l’entreprise. Des sessions de formation complètes ont permis aux ingénieurs d’OSI d’utiliser la solution de manière efficace et autonome en très peu de temps. Malgré des interruptions du projet, XPLM a fourni un soutien continu et des formations de remise à niveau afin d’assurer la poursuite sans heurts et la réussite de la mise en œuvre.
