Standardized process for managing CAD assemblies across all sites.

Solution
Together with XPLM, Wilo implemented a tailored integration of Altium Designer into SAP Engineering Control Center (ECTR) to streamline data management and collaboration across its global sites. The solution automated the exchange of ECAD data and replaced manual, error-prone processes with a consistent digital workflow.
A hierarchical BOM structure was introduced to manage complex data models and meet specific requirements in both product development and manufacturing. Through this integration, all relevant design information is now accessible company-wide, enabling faster processes, higher data quality, and improved cross-departmental collaboration.
